This is 'Mickey' the Standard Schnauzer who thinks he always belongs in the front seat, from Illinois, in his 'seat belt'.
Your harness arrangement is rather unique -- it is padded, but it won't make them hot, and it keeps them farther back on the seat, because of where the snap fixes onto the harness. That I like. Particularly with a dog who thinks he always belongs in the front seat!
I tried your car/seat belt harness today for the first time on our dog, to take him to the vets.
I love it! It supports the chest area more completely than any other harness I have had on him, PLUS, I like where the leash, and/or seat-belt straps on to the harness -- on the ring up near the neck, rather than back down the mid-back.
Having the leash ring up near the neck keeps more of him in the back seat!
Now I have to go to your website and order a small size for our other dog!
This is a great idea! I have tried lots of these harness seat-belt rigs, and yours is honestly the best. It does a thorough job of confining the dog, yet supporting the chest area against damage. With the other harnesses, the chest strap can (and
usually does) slip to one side of the chest, or the other.
Thanks again.
